Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Bank Head of FP&A to lead forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling during a pivotal growth phase. Reporting to the Bank CFO, you will build the foundation of the FP&A function and partner with cross-functional teams to drive strategic decision-making.

The role emphasizes strategic finance leadership, ownership, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment. The position is remote-first, with select offices available nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years relevant experience in analytical roles (e.g., strategic finance, consulting, data science, or analytics).
• Minimum 5 years of people management experience.
• Proven ability to operate with ownership in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong business judgment connecting analysis to executive decisions.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across cross-functional teams.
• Financial modeling proficiency; working knowledge of modeling tools and data visualization preferred.
• Familiarity with fintech, lending and payments business model preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end forecasting and budget process.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models for planning and decision-making.
• Oversee capital stress testing and ongoing monitoring.
• Provide financial analysis and actionable insights to executives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on financial workflows and strategic initiatives.
• Translate analyses into executive-ready narratives and align stakeholders.
