Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of communications/public relations experience.
• Experience with a financial firm or technology company serving the financial sector.
• Familiarity with media outlets, reporters and industry analysts covering capital markets/technology.
• Experience developing global media strategies, shaping messaging, creating compelling content and pitching stories.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Healthy balance of autonomy, collaboration and cooperation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and craft compelling stories describing Bloomberg’s role in financial technology and innovation.
• Translate the complexity of Bloomberg’s solutions for the enterprise into pitches, press releases and content that positions Bloomberg as a leading provider for capital markets.
• Contribute to development of communications plans and campaigns that support product strategy and monitor media landscape for actionable insights.
• Build and maintain relationships with media, industry analysts and others in financial and technology circles.
• Support development of business and product messaging for spokespeople.
• Apply rigorous attention to metrics, monitor progress and incorporate insights into communications strategies.
• Collaborate with communications and marketing colleagues to ensure message and tactic consistency.
