Job summary

Bloomberg’s communications team is seeking a collaborative specialist to drive external relations for the Bloomberg Terminal. You’ll advise business leaders and guide execution to communicate Bloomberg’s AI and finance technology narratives to media, analysts, and the financial community.

You’ll translate complex solutions into compelling content, build global media plans, and work across a dispersed team to maintain consistent messaging and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least four-seven years of communications/public relations experience, in-house or at an agency.
• Experience working with a financial firm or technology company serving the financial sector.
• Familiarity with media outlets, reporters and industry analysts covering capital markets, technology and finance.
• Experience developing global media strategies, shaping messaging and pitching stories, including on complex or technical topics.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop compelling forward-looking stories shaping Bloomberg's role in AI, fintech and market innovation.
• Translate Bloomberg's solutions and emerging AI capabilities into pitches, press releases and content.
• Contribute to communications plans and campaigns that support product strategy and monitor media landscape for insights.
• Build and maintain relationships with media, analysts and others in financial and tech circles.
• Support the development of business and product messaging for spokespeople; simplify complex products for broad audiences.
• Apply metrics, monitor progress and adapt communications strategies to drive outcomes.
• Collaborate with a global team to ensure consistent messaging and tactics.
