Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a skilled data analyst to support our data ecosystem. You will analyze complex datasets, automate reporting with SQL and Python, and partner with engineering and business teams to deliver insights that matter.

You will work with Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, and SQL Server to optimize data models and build scalable solutions that power daily operations and strategic decisions for the trading desk.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience analyzing complex datasets and writing SQL, Python, or similar languages to automate reporting and analysis.
• 2+ years of professional experience in fintech or structured products, working with loan-level information and understanding amortization, prepayment, default, and loss severity.
• Comfortable evaluating credit performance and communicating insights to both technical and business audiences.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, and SQL Server, and experience optimizing queries and data models for performance at scale.
• A first-rate collaborator and communicator, comfortable working alongside engineers and business teams, translating analytical requirements into actionable deliverables.
