Modernize, a QuinStreet division, seeks a skilled Business Analyst to optimize and expand its consumer-financing marketplace. You will translate lender performance, contractor demand, consumer credit profiles, and operational data into business decisions.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in financial services or fintech, strong SQL and Excel, and experience with Tableau/Power BI/Looker. This fast-moving startup fosters cross-functional collaboration and data-driven action.

Qualifications

4+ years in financial services, fintech, consumer lending, or marketplace analytics.
Strong knowledge of credit segmentation, underwriting criteria, and lending-funnel metrics.
Advanced SQL and Excel or Google Sheets skills.
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar BI tools.

Responsibilities

Evaluate lender coverage across FICO bands, loan amounts, states, and product types.
Identify contractor and consumer demand not adequately served by the lender network.
Develop lender scorecards covering volume, approval rates, funded rates, and related metrics.
Monitor financing funnel from onboarding to funding and repeat usage.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations to implement improvements.
