Job summary

Luma Financial Technologies, a fintech leader, seeks a Business Development Representative to drive new pipeline for our sales organization. This role targets broker/dealers, RIAs, banks, and other financial institutions that benefit from Luma's platform for structured products and capital markets investments.

You will research target accounts, run outbound outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and events, qualify opportunities, and hand off well-prepared leads to our Sales team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of sales, business development, or relationship management experience in financial services or insurance
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, resilient, and goal-driven with strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment

Responsibilities

• Research target accounts and build lists across RIAs, broker/dealers, banks, and other distributors
• Run outbound outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and events to generate qualified meetings
• Respond promptly to inbound leads and inquiries from webinars and campaigns
• Qualify prospects and hand off opportunities to Sales with clear documentation
• Maintain accurate CRM records and participate in pipeline reviews
