Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Fintech/Payments Industry accounting experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in QuickBooks (QBO).
• Organized and detail oriented with an ability to work independently.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Strong reconciliation skills: cash and general ledger.

Responsibilities

• Assist creating/managing Luqra ERP tickets (Finance Audit Queue) to resolve funds movement issues and internal/external verification requests including the Cancellation Ticket workflow ticket type.
• Resolve MRA (TSYS Platform - Maintain Reject Activity) entries including accumulation of entries on the MRA log.
• Initiate/Post MDE (TSYS Platform – Manual Data Entry) funds movement entries including accumulation of entries on the MDE log.
• Assist with resolving AR-ACH Reject activity and monitor merchant reserves and prepare for collections or legal action as needed.
• Assist with the Release of Funds to Merchants in mReports.
• Ensure subsidiary tracking spreadsheet files are maintained accurately and timely regarding posting activity.
• Assist with the coding of daily cash activity and adjustment postings.
• Manage general ledger accounting and recurring journal entries for adjustments.
• Reconcile assigned Balance Sheet Accounts and complete monthly close responsibilities.
• Assist with Residual Commission adjustments communications and reporting.
• Review daily bank activity and reconciliation of adjustment transactions.
• Assist in monthly and year-end financial/audit compliance reporting.
• Prepare assigned analysis reports (recurring and ad-hoc).
• Perform duties to minimize errors and cross-train as needed.
• Develop training modules for bank compliance and PCI rules.
• Assist with audits (External Financial Audit, SOC Audit, Sponsor Bank Compliance, Card Brand).
• Handle special projects as assigned.
