Position Overview

This role involves acting as the primary accounting and operational lead for financial activities. Responsibilities include coordinating batch processing, settlement and transaction reconciliations, exception resolution, close support, analysis, reporting, and control execution.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of financial activities, including authorizations, settlements, and supplier payment records.
• Review batch files and system interfaces for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage open-card and exception aging, document root causes, and escalates issues as needed.
• Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment and data issues.
• Review funding requirements and communicate needs to relevant departments.
• Perform analytical reviews of financial trends and operational data.
• Support dispute and fraud workflows with thorough documentation.
• Maintain and improve standard operating procedures and audit-ready evidence.
• Test system changes and process automation.
• Train and review work of junior team members for accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide status reporting and recommendations to management.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of four years of experience in accounting, treasury, or related fields.
• Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with large transaction files.
• Ability to manage deadlines and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Experience with payment platforms or comparable systems.
• Background in related industries such as hospitality or fintech.

Supervisory Responsibility

May provide day-to-day work direction, training, and review support to junior team members. Formal supervisory responsibility is subject to final organization design.
