Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Finance Operations professional on the BP team to drive AP compliance initiatives across multiple business and tech groups. You will lead program management, design scalable processes, and set KPIs to measure success while partnering with global stakeholders to improve controllership.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in tax/finance analytics, strong data modelling skills, and experience with large-scale data tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
5+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience.
5+ years applying KPIs to analyses.
5+ years building financial/operational reports for decision-making.
5+ years creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
5+ years participating in continuous improvement projects with measurable results.

Responsibilities

Drive program objectives: define plans, manage implementation, develop processes and communications.
Scale services and tools to handle growth and global dispersion.
Define KPIs and SLAs; track delivery against objectives.
Communicate new/updated programs to leaders and cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with system and business owners to ensure process excellence and controllership.
Resolve critical vendor issues and perform deep-dive analyses to improve customer experience.
Negotiate efficient processes across partner teams to remove dependencies and defects.
Coordinate with FinOps centers to set near/medium/long-term goals for improvements.
Develop mechanisms to support new programs and tool launches worldwide.
Identify and quantify financial/operational risks and opportunities; drive ad-hoc projects.
