Job summary

Dycom Industries, Inc. seeks an IT FinOps Lead to serve as the financial steward of our technology landscape, focusing on AWS and SAP.

You will establish end-to-end spend visibility, manage budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization across cloud, software, licensing, and hardware. You will collaborate with IT leadership, SAP CoE, finance, and procurement to ensure accurate reporting, governance, and business-value alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT financial management, FinOps, or technology cost management.
• Direct experience managing AWS spend with Cost Explorer, Burden, Budgets, tagging, and RI/Plans.
• Experience supporting SAP environment cost management including licensing/subscriptions.
• Hands-on with SAP for Me for license/contract/billing management.
• Experience managing software/SaaS spend, licenses, and asset management.
• Proven ability to build/manage IT budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Ability to review vendor contracts and invoices for cloud/software providers.

Responsibilities

• Establish end-to-end IT spend visibility and FinOps framework.
• Own AWS cost reporting, tagging, Savings Plans/RI management, and anomaly detection.
• Administer SAP cost management, optimize licenses, and connect spend to business value.
• Track and optimize SaaS/software spend and maintain asset records.
• Support vendor negotiations, renewals, and invoice validation.
• Design showback/chargeback models and executive dashboards to monitor unit economics.
