Job summary

Accenture is seeking a hands‑on FinOps engineer to help clients optimize cloud spend across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You will build data pipelines, configure FinOps platforms, and develop dashboards that provide end‑to‑end visibility across the technology estate.

You will collaborate with teams to analyze cloud and on‑prem workloads, identify rightsizing and autoscaling opportunities, and present actionable recommendations to client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in FinOps or cloud financial management
• Exposure to datacenter/private cloud/storage/network/databases
• Hands-on with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)
• Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cost and usage data pipelines for AWS/Azure/GCP and integrate non-cloud sources (VMware/Hyper‑V, Nutanix, SAN/NAS, network telemetry, Oracle/SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Configure FinOps platforms and BI dashboards for multi‑domain cost visibility
• Analyze cloud and on‑prem workloads; identify rightsizing, RI, and autoscaling opportunities
• Execute optimization for datacenter consolidation, private cloud capacity planning, storage tiering, network bandwidth, and database performance
• Document savings and provide actionable recommendations to client stakeholders
• Develop baseline forecasts and scenario models; monitor variances and update dashboards
• Support tagging remediation and allocation rules for showback/chargeback; enforce cost governance in CI/CD and architecture reviews
• Prepare reports and dashboards; present findings to client leads; support workshops and governance forums
