Job summary

Info Origin Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst in VA to join the IT FinOps team. You will analyze IT financial data related to Azure and on-premises workloads, and develop Power BI dashboards to visualize cost trends and migration impacts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, or related field, and advanced skills in Power BI (Power Query, DAX) and Excel. Prior experience with Azure cost management and Apptio is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
Advanced Power BI skills (Power Query, DAX) and Excel (advanced).
Data modeling and data manipulation across heterogeneous data sources.
Experience with Azure cost management, Apptio, and cloud billing structures.

Responsibilities

Analyze IT financial data across Azure and on-premises environments (consumption, billing, chargeback).
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize cost trends and workload impacts.
Perform variance analysis on monthly/annual IT spend to identify anomalies and savings opportunities.
Maintain datasets from Apptio, Azure Portal, and SharePoint; ensure accuracy and completeness.
Document processes for financial reporting and analysis; collaborate with cloud, I&O, and finance stakeholders.
Model server cost scenarios to support Azure migration planning and forecast reserve capacity.
