Job summary

Cyber Resource is seeking a finance/data analytics professional to analyze IT financial data across Azure and on-premises environments. You will build Power BI dashboards, model cost scenarios, and drive cost-optimization initiatives.

Required skills include advanced Power BI, Excel, data modeling, and strong collaboration with cloud teams. Familiarity with Apptio and Azure cost structures is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
• Advanced Power BI skills with Power Query and DAX; Excel (advanced) and data visualization best practices.
• Data modeling and data manipulation across heterogeneous sources.
• High familiarity with Azure cost management, Apptio, and cloud billing structures.
• Understanding of server migration strategies and workload cost modeling.
• Ability to translate technical data into insights for technical teams and managers.
• Ability to work independently and apply critical thinking to analyze complex financial data and develop actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency in Power BI including independently updating data, performing queries, and managing and analyzing datasets.

Responsibilities

• Analyze IT financial data for Azure and VITA environments, including consumption and billing.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize cost trends and migration impacts.
• Perform variance analysis on IT spend and identify savings opportunities.
• Maintain datasets from Apptio, Azure Portal, and SharePoint for accuracy.
• Document processes and support cost reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with cloud, I&O, and finance stakeholders to align cost models with operations.
• Model server cost scenarios to support Azure migration planning.
• Contribute to FinOps strategy with insights on cost drivers and utilization.
