Qualifications

• 5+ years in FinOps, cloud financial management, or related role.
• Strong experience analysing and optimising AWS spend in production.
• Experience with cost allocation and budget management.
• Ability to own rightsizing and track impact to realised savings.
• Understanding of cloud architecture trade-offs and cost drivers.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own FinOps and AWS rightsizing across Cognism R&D, production and non-production.
• Build cost visibility by service, domain, environment and owner.
• Track cost baselines, trends and deviations; translate into insights.
• Maintain a prioritised optimisation backlog with owners and savings.
• Provide cost assessments and financial impact for infrastructure changes.
• Partner with engineering and service owners to optimise resources
• Develop recurring cost reporting for leadership and Finance.
• Use Port.io and cost data to strengthen governance.
