Job DescriptionJob Description

Development and implementation of Daily Finite Schedule which includes

  1. Maintain achievable build & ship plan, with focus on minimizing costs and internal lead-time
  2. Work with Emery Operations, 3rd Party Manufacturing facilities (Tollers), and Global Affiliates to meet forecasted requirements
  3. Develop capacity plan and communicate this and relevant planning metrics to management
  4. Identify critical shortages and work with Supply Chain Planning Manager and cross functional team on appropriate mitigation plans
  5. Create and Manage Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders as needed

Manages and distributes periodic reports (i.e. Inventory position and carbon chain balance, etc.)

Responsible for SAP master data including new material set-ups, Bills of Material (BOMs), and Recipes

Work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning

Work effectively in a collaborative team environment to resolve complex scenarios including capacity, material shortages, and forecast/demand variations

Must be willing to take on new projects as needed and have the flexibility to support various plant departments as part of the responsibilities

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent / relevant experience (Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Degree a plus)

• 3+ years related experience - Supply Chain Management, Operations Planning, Material Planning, Supply Planning, or Logistics

• Chemical Plant Experience

• Proficent in Microsoft Office

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP

• Project Management skills
