Job summary

Reader Precision Solutions is seeking a Finishing Technician to perform finishing operations, monitor workflow, and help ensure on-time shipment of machined parts. The role requires reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools, and maintaining a clean, compliant finishing area.

The position entails shifts on 2nd or 3rd, with a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement in a high-tech manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings (blueprints).
• Proficiency with basic mathematics and geometry.
• Proven data entry accuracy in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work in a team and on own with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow routing procedures in ERP system.
• Monitor production for hot jobs and adjust workflow for high-priority work.
• Maintain inventory for finishing materials and notify Purchasing when stock is low.
• Keep finishing area clean; handle waste solvents and chemicals safely.
• Perform basic maintenance on finishing equipment and document procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and record procedures.
