Job summary

Butler Weldments is seeking a Finishing - General Laborer to perform finishing tasks and material-handling to prep fabricated steel components for shipment. You will operate blasting, tape parts, build crates, and assist with painting or touch-ups as qualified.

The ideal candidate values quality workmanship, can read a tape measure, and is comfortable using hand and power tools in a safe shop environment. Prior painting experience is a plus, with a focus on teamwork and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Reliable and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Promote and adhere to core values and behavior code.
• Perform abrasive blasting and surface preparation as directed.
• Tape and mask parts in preparation for painting or finishing.
• Build wooden crates, shipping containers, pallets, and packaging.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and secure materials with hand/power tools.
• Safely operate saws, drills, grinders and other shop equipment.
