Job summary

Lippert is seeking a Finishing Team Leader in Eau Claire, WI to assist the Supervisor and lead finishing associates in a fast-paced powder coating environment.

You will help with scheduling, quality control, and process improvements while ensuring safety and policy adherence. This is an off-line Lead role supporting production goals.

Qualifications

  • 2 years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with powder coating experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a leadership role.
  • Basic computer skills sufficient for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct associates through daily activities in the finishing department.
  • Assist with project requirements, sequencing, and material readiness per blueprints and instructions.
  • Support production scheduling to meet customer demands.
  • Ensure paint quality consistently meets company standards.
  • Coordinate with associates and Powder Manager to define needs.
  • Schedule work to meet deadlines and communicate priorities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve powder department issues.
  • Define, implement, and maintain best practices.
  • Train associates and enforce policy compliance.
  • Assist in progressive discipline procedures.

Finishing Team Leader

Our Team Leaders assist the Supervisor in maintaining an efficient and effective Department. They are responsible for assisting team members when needed and reporting any issues to the Supervisor and may also help with the setup of equipment or work facilities. This is an off-line Lead role.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the department supervisor with leading and directing associates through daily activities
  • Assist with determining project requirements, including scope, assembly sequences, and required methods and materials according to blueprints, drawings and written or verbal instruction
  • Assist with production scheduling
  • Ensure paint quality consistently meets company standards
  • Communicate and work closely with associates and Powder Manager
  • Schedule work to meet customer demands
  • Interact with associates and Powder Manager to define requirements
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems within the Powder department
  • Define, implement, and maintain best practices
  • Train associates and ensure they conform to policy
  • Assist in implementing progressive discipline procedures
Qualifications:
  • Work Experience: 2 years of experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment with powder coating experience. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership role.
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
