Job summary

CCL Label Food and Beverage Sioux Falls is seeking a Finishing Supervisor to lead the production department and ensure day-to-day operations align with customer expectations. You will oversee staffing, training, and workflow to drive efficient manufacturing.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to safety, and a track record in manufacturing management. This on-site position offers competitive benefits and opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory/management role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, injury/accident-free workplace and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Ensure proper staffing to complete jobs as designated.
• Is responsible for direct supervision of designated staff and ensure proper training is completed by employees.
• Initiate appropriate actions for maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement necessary changes to positively impact production.
• Communicate job expectations, provide training, guidance and coaching in a constructive and consistent manner.
• Ensure that all incidents are investigated and reported in a timely manner, determining root cause analysis and preventative measures and ensure that employees are using the proper PPE when completing a task.
• Manage and address employee conduct or performance issues by investigating the issue and identifying the root causes. Seeking advice from HR and upper management as needed.
• Participate in production meetings and identify corrective actions as needed.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
• Other duties as assigned by management
