Job summary

Milwaukee Precision Casting, Inc. seeks an Inspector in the Finishing department to perform visual inspections and rework parts according to process sheets and instructions. You will fill scrap reports, follow safety rules, and help ensure quality by understanding defect types such as excess metal, non-fill, broken, and cut-off/grinding damage.

Basic reading and writing skills are required; on‑the‑job training provided. This on-site role reports to the Finishing Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow process instructions and inspection files.
• Able to fill out scrap reports accurately.
• Comply with safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual inspections and reworks parts per inspection instructions on process sheet, inspection files or instructions given from Quality Manager or Plant Manager.
