Job summary

Thornwillow Press, Ltd. in Newburgh is seeking careful, dependable personnel to inspect, finish, and package our fine books, stationery, and printed objects by hand in our Newburgh workshops.

Duties include inspecting for quality, correcting minor imperfections, wrapping and boxing orders, and coordinating with production and shipping to ensure on-time delivery. Part-time positions are available 2–4 days per week with flexible scheduling; additional hours may arise during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookbinding, printmaking, framing, crafts, fine-art handling, packaging, or similar work requiring patience and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished books, stationery, and printed materials for quality and completeness.
• Clean, correct minor imperfections, and perform simple finishing tasks.
• Wrap and package orders securely for shipment.
