MCC is seeking an entry-level Packer to inspect, band, and shrink-wrap stacks of finished labels and prepare boxes for shipment. The role offers growth opportunities within the company and emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork.

The position requires standing for long shifts, basic manual handling, and a willingness to learn and grow within MCC's packaging operations. A full benefits package is provided along with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Frequent walking required
• Occasionally climb/balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Able to regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, adjust focus

Responsabilités

• Inspects finished labels to ensure quality.
• Binds and shrink wraps stacks of finished labels.
• Assembles corrugated boxes or trays.
• Packs finished labels in boxes for shipment.
• Stacks boxes on a pallet for shipment.
• Completes required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Operates a pallet jack.
• Complies with safety policies and procedures (ISO, GMA SAFE, HACCP).
• Interacts professionally with associates and upholds company ethics.

The Packer is tasked with inspecting, banding, and shrink-wrapping stacks of finished labels, as well as assembling and packing boxes of finished labels. Meets safety, production, sustainability, and quality standards. Interacts with other departments to achieve the company’s core strategies. This is an entry-level role that we intend to grow into different positions within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Inspects finished labels to ensure quality.


• Bands and shrink wraps stacks of finished labels.


• Assembles corrugated boxes or trays.


• Packs finished labels in boxes for shipment.


• Stack boxes on a pallet for shipment.


• Completes required documentation in an accurate and prompt manner.


• Operates a pallet jack.


• Complies with established facility safety policies and procedures, other work instructions, and other regulations (IE: ISO, GMA SAFE, HACCP) as applicable.


• Interacts and behaves professionally. Treats all associates respectfully and professionally while maintaining the company's code of ethics.


• Responsible for maintaining daily housekeeping efforts, which may include painting and cleaning of the facility (interior and exterior).


• Travels as necessary.


• Other duties as assigned.
