Job summary

Kaiser Aluminum is seeking a Finishing and Packing General Foreman for our Newburgh, Indiana facility. The role will manage 24/7 finishing and packaging crews, drive Lean initiatives, and coach frontline supervisors to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

You will develop area objectives, participate in annual budgets, and ensure cost controls while delivering on customer expectations. A BS degree in industrial engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering, or related field is highly

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting, preferably with union involvement.
• Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, ISO, and Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 operation of finishing and packaging crews.
• Lead Kaizen events, TPM, and safety initiatives in assigned area.
• Develop and monitor area objectives, 30-60-90 day plans, and budgets.
• Coach front-line supervisors and staff to improve productivity and safety.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers and suppliers to maintain performance.
