Job summary

Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) is seeking a Finishing Department Lead on 1st shift in the United States. The role involves supervising the finishing team, overseeing timekeeping and performance reviews, and leading projects to maintain print and seam quality.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, strong problem-solving skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Radius. A high school diploma or GED is required; experience in lithographic, flexographic, or digital printing is

Experience with lithographic, flexographic, or digital printing preferred.
Strong supervisory skills and ability to lead and develop a team.

Responsibilities

Oversees timekeeping, attendance, performance reviews, training, and development.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Ability to perform Finishing Operator duties.
Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.
Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure.
Handles rolls and palletizes them to prevent damage.
Understand basic printing and seam-related defects.
Record and enter data on designated paperwork and in Radius.
