FedEx Office in Coppell, TX is seeking a Finishing Operator, Sewing to operate commercial sewing machines and support digital print/finishing orders in a fast-paced environment. You will set up and run sewing and binding equipment, assist with production flow, maintain 5S standards, and provide customer service with minimal supervision.
The role requires standing, lifting up to 55 lbs, and adherence to LEAN principles.
The Finishing Operator, Sewing is required to perform many functions within the plant, including, but not limited to, operating a variety of equipment. The main task will be operating commercial grade sewing machines. Other tasks may include moving boxes, products and supplies; operating computerized equipment; writing and filling out forms; sorting and collating products; following instructions from supervisors; and communicating effectively with other team members throughout the plant. The Finishing Operator, Sewing will be heavily involved in the printing/finishing of orders according to customer specifications (order details). This team member also maintains the Digital and Signs and Graphics production areas and equipment.
