Job summary

Glenroy, Inc. in Menomonee Falls, WI, is seeking a Finishing Operator to convert Master Rolls into Finished Rolls following standard finishing procedures.

The role reports to the Finishing Lead and requires strict adherence to safety, quality, and GMP guidelines. Responsibilities include setting up finishing machines, maintaining material quality, identifying defects, and ensuring accurate line verification, time and quantity entry in the shop floor system.

Qualifications

• English language verbal and written communication skills.
• High school math skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently with team members.
• Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities related to the setup and operation of Finishing machines, following written procedures and instructions.
• Maintain material quality throughout the slitting operation, ensuring proper print position, roll conformation, and implementation of the hold procedure when necessary.
• Identify and remove defective material using established flagging and inspection procedures.
• Follow shop packet instructions and complete line verification forms accurately.
• Read and follow written procedures and instructions as required.
• Label, sleeve, and box finished goods.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
• Enter time and quantity information into the shop floor computer system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
