Job summary

Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) is seeking a Finishing Operator in Bowling Green, KY for the 2nd shift with a $1.00 differential. You will set up and operate post-print finishing equipment, inspect quality, and complete production documentation to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities include reviewing job tickets, operating cutting equipment, weighing with scales, and coordinating with QA and other operators to ensure accurate cutting meets folding and wrapping requirements.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of experience on a variety of cutting operations preferable.
• Ability to perform basic math for production calculations.
• Ability to read and follow instructions written or in diagrams.
• Ability to work standing for long periods and handle physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Review job tickets and set up programs; contact QA for approval to run.
• Set scale to weigh product.
• Operate cutter and ensure proper line up and cutting.
• Check cutting operation and adjust to meet specs.
• Coordinate with Folder/Overwrap operators to meet folding/wrapping requirements.
• Train new operators as necessary.
• Maintain clean and orderly finishing area.
