Qualifications

• Read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Perform basic arithmetic for counts, weights, and measurements.
• Read rulers, scales, and other measurement devices.
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
• Must have color vision and depth perception for quality checks.
• Stand and walk frequently; maintain safe housekeeping in a production area.

Responsibilities

• Receives job assignments from Press Supervisor or Team Lead; reads job specifications, and completes tasks as outlined.
• Reviews job jacket to ensure all finishing, packaging, and shipping specifications are addressed.
• Inspect products to ensure quality integrity and package products.
• Ensure quality of work to include color, size, die cut, perforations, print, and quantity of packaged items being shipped.
• Assist in cutting, collating, wrapping, and packaging of converting jobs.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machines if assigned.
• Completes paperwork for each job and packages finished goods for shipment to customer.
• Keeps work areas clear and organized; maintains housekeeping standards.
