Job summary

American Packaging Corporation in Rochester, NY is seeking a team member to assist in the daily operations of the Finishing Department. You will monitor production, ensure quality, and help maintain safe, clean work areas.

This role requires the ability to follow instructions, perform basic math, and lift up to 50 lbs. You will train new employees and work on a 7am-7pm 2-2-3 schedule with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, memos, and safety rules.
• Basic math skills including rates, ratios, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations of the Finishing Department and monitor production quality.
• Follow safety programs and keep work areas clean and organized, using required protective equipment.
• Record quality checks and participate in continuous improvement meetings and trainings.
• Train new employees as necessary and work overtime as required.
