Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Finishing Helper on the 1st shift to safely finish materials for our customers at the highest quality. This hands-on role supports production and packaging across our Chattanooga manufacturing site.

You will operate laminators, tape machines, shrink-wrappers and banders, help maintain production records, perform quality checks, and keep the work area clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Experience operating finishing equipment or similar packaging machinery.
• Ability to meet production schedules.
• Commitment to safety and cleanliness.
• Willingness to overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate laminators, tape machines, shrink-wrappers and banders.
• Maintain production records and reports.
• Assist on kit pack lines per customer needs.
• Perform quality checks on finished goods.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and safe.
• Work overtime as needed to meet dept schedule.
