Job summary

Silgan Specialty Packaging in Triadelphia, WV is seeking a production associate to operate packaging line equipment, monitor machine operation, ensure parts are counted and stored correctly, and manage labeling and box sealing as needed. You will follow quality procedures to maintain product safety, identify nonconformities, report issues to the Shift QA, and keep documentation accurate.

• Pull shots for quality checks following machine re-starts or as needed.
• Identify nonconformities and inform the Shift QA.
• Evaluate product to ensure high quality and conformance with established standards.
• Report any food safety and quality problems or concerns.
• Evaluate and document machine performance.
• Maintain ink in printers and labels in labelers. Un-jam assemblers as needed.
• Tape boxes shut, label the boxes, and stack for shipment.
• Prepare paperwork at the end of the shift for the following shift, noting any problems or exceptions that occurred. Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary.
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures
