Nesco Resource seeks a Finishing Inspector in Painesville, OH to ensure precision on complex machined components for aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. You will rely on microscopes, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs to verify dimensions and surface quality.

The role emphasizes strict documentation, attention to detail, and timely reporting in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Shifts include 1st and 2nd, with comprehensive benefits upon hire.

Qualifications

• Quality inspection experience, preferably in machining, finishing, plating, or post-machining environments.
• Hands-on experience with microscopes, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and precision inspection equipment.
• Strong blueprint reading and dimensional inspection skills; GD&T and CMM experience are a plus.
• Excellent visual inspection skills, including magnification and defect detection.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to document inspection results in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

We are looking for a Finishing Inspector in Painesville, OH who takes pride in precision and knows what quality looks like. You'll play a critical role in inspecting complex machined components for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.

Job Requirements

• Quality inspection experience, preferably in machining, finishing, plating, or post-machining environments.
• Hands-on experience with microscopes, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and precision inspection equipment.
• Strong blueprint reading and dimensional inspection skills; GD&T and CMM experience are a plus.
• Excellent visual inspection skills, including the ability to work with 3x and 10x magnification and identify defects others might miss.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable accurately documenting inspection results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate: $18 per hour

1st Shift- 5:30AM-2:30PM Mon-Thurs, 5:30AM-11:00AM on Friday

2nd Shift- 2:30PM-1:30AM, Monday-Thursday
