Job summary

BGF Industries, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Finishing Machine Operator to run and monitor finishing equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, ensuring products meet customer specifications.

The role requires setting up and adjusting machines, inspecting fabric, and entering production data while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Shift availability includes 2nd (4:00 PM - 12:00 AM) and 3rd (12:00 AM - 8:00 AM) as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience monitoring machine performance and making process adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
• Ability to follow work instructions, specifications, and production schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be able to obtain Powered Industrial Truck Certification.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate finishing equipment per work orders and production specifications.
• Monitor machine settings, speed, tension, and finish application to maintain product quality.
• Inspect fabric throughout the finishing process and make adjustments as needed.
• Enter production and quality data into manufacturing systems.
• Wrap, label, and prepare finished material for storage or shipment.
• Load and operate batch ovens as required.
• Communicate quality, safety, and equipment concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
