Job summary

Valdese Weavers, a 100% employee-owned ESOP textile mill in Valdese, NC, is seeking a Finish Industrial Cleaning Tech (PT) to clean and maintain finishing equipment and facilities. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to ISO 9001 work instructions, and weekend shifts.

You will perform cleaning and preventive maintenance, report issues to the supervisor, and work with a team while meeting deadlines and production quotas.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in reading and writing English to follow instructions.
• Ability to prioritize and work unattended to complete tasks.
• Available to work weekends or holidays if needed.
• Good physical condition to maneuver around equipment.
• Additional training such as Lock Out/Tag Out may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning procedures on finishing equipment and the building.
• Perform preventive maintenance on finishing equipment and building.
• Operate equipment properly and report malfunctions.
• Follow supervisor instructions and meet deadlines.
