Job summary

USAM, a high-end architectural millwork firm based in Manassas, VA, seeks a Finisher/Sprayer to join our team and ensure the finishing on the completed product meets the customer’s specifications.

You will prepare work for finishing, sand between coats, and apply satin or finish coats with consistent quality while mixing colors as needed. Occasional additional duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in millwork finishing.
• Skilled use of paints and spray finishing techniques.
• Experience working in an AWI custom shop.

Responsibilities

• Finish the completed product per the customer’s specifications.
• Prepare work to enter the finishing area and sands between coats.
• Apply satin and/or finish coats uniformly on work.
• Mix colors as required for each job.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Responsible for the finishing on the completed product per the customer’s specifications
• Responsible for preparing work to enter the finishing area and/or sands between coats of finish
• Applies uniform coats of satin and/or finish on work.
• Has responsibility for mixing colors
• Other duties as assigned.
