Avalign Technologies Inc in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a motivated Finisher I to join the #OneAvalign Team. You will perform finishing operations, including mass finishing, cleaning and passivation, to meet customer requirements for medical devices and implants.

This role supports our high-quality, compliant manufacturing environment, with first and second shift options and opportunities to cross-train in other finishing processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with inspection tools and blueprints is a plus.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Operate finishing equipment to smooth, polish, clean, and passivate medical devices and implants.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and inspection sheets to meet quality specifications.
• Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and enter data into company systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain an organized workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and ensure on-time delivery.
• Cross-train in other finishing processes.
• Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations; wears personal protective equipment in accordance with safety and training guidelines.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finisher I to join our #OneAvalign Team. In this role, you will perform finishing operations, including mass finishing, cleaning and passivation, etc. to meet customer requirements for medical instruments and implants. This position is critical in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

1st Shift

• Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

2nd Shift

• Monday - Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM or 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Operate and maintain finishing equipment to smooth, polish, clean, and passivate medical devices and implants.
