Job summary

Avalign Technologies, Inc. in Greenwood, Indiana is seeking a manufacturing assembler to join our production team. You will assemble parts on the assembly line per procedures and quality standards, and support continuous workflow on fast-paced shifts.

Responsibilities include operating rivet and drill equipment, reading blueprints, and performing routine quality checks. Opportunities for forklift operation after certification and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to follow instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Mathematical skills to manage units of measure, fractions, decimals, whole numbers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operations sheets to determine setup and operations.
• Ability to set up and operate a Rivet Machine; input and maintain data in Traverse Manufacturing System.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Disassembles, re-works or salvages scrap parts.

• Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards; removes small quantities of metal to produce a smooth finish.
• Inspects product for quality defects including but not limited to: missing brackets, damaged brackets, incorrect artwork, screw gauges, etc.

What You’ll Do
