Job summary

Avalign Technologies is seeking a motivated Finishing Operator to perform finishing operations on medical instruments and implants, including mass finishing and passivation, ensuring products meet the highest quality standards.

You will operate finishing equipment, follow work instructions and blueprints, perform quality checks with calipers and micrometers, and help maintain an organized workspace on the 1st shift (Mon-Thu, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM).

Qualifications

• Requires precise attention to detail and steady hand for measurement checks.
• Able to work effectively in a team and in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with inspection tools and blueprints is a plus.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will perform finishing operations, including mass finishing, cleaning and passivation, etc. to meet customer requirements for medical instruments and implants. This position is critical in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

1st Shift:

Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Operate and maintain finishing equipment to smooth, polish, clean, and passivate medical devices and implants.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and inspection sheets to meet quality specifications.
• Perform quality checks using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and enter data into company systems.

• Crosstrain in other finishing processes.
• Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations; wears personal protective equipment in accordance with safety and training guidelines.
