Job summary

Avalign Technologies seeks a skilled CNC Mill Turn Machinist to join our Indiana team. You will set up, operate, and maintain mill turn machines to produce high-precision medical instruments and implants.

You will read blueprints, perform in-process and final inspections, and support continuous improvement efforts to ensure on-time delivery and quality. A 3+ year machining background is required, with strong CNC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced technical training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment; CNC mill turn experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to set up, troubleshoot, and operate multi-axis CNC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain mill turn machines, finishing equipment, hand tools, and fixtures; perform burr removal as needed.
• Conduct machine setups, changeovers, and CNC program debugging, including adjustments and tool changes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, inspection check sheets, and work instructions accurately.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, height stands, comparators, and other precision measurement tools.
• Use ERP and machine monitoring systems to manage work orders, track production, and document quality checks electronically.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Turn Machinist to join our team. The Mill Turn Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC mill turn machines to produce high-quality medical instruments and implants. This position requires precision, strong attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Shift Opportunities:

1st Shift

• Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

2nd Shift

• Monday – Thursday, 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM or 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 15% shift premium

Weekend Shift

• Friday – Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 15% shift premium
• Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours!

What You’ll Do:
