Job summary

Advanced Blending Solutions LLC, based in Wallace, MI, is seeking a full-time Finisher to join our production team on the 1st shift. Enjoy a Monday-Thursday 5:30 am–2:30 pm schedule and Friday 5:00 am–9:00 am, with weekends free.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret basic parts drawings.
• Organized and detail-oriented with good time management and prioritization.
• Must complete forklift certification within 30 days.
• Finish painting experience with wet and/or powder coat preferred.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform finishing processes including blasting, powder coating, polishing, and occasional wet coat painting on metal parts/surfaces.
• Maintain and clean equipment; perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Label, store, and dispose of materials safely.
• Operate hand and power tools; assist with forklift movement between departments.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A FINISHER

As a Finisher, you will perform a variety of finishing processes including blasting, powder coating, polishing, and occasional wet coat painting on metal parts/surfaces. You will be responsible for taking care of the equipment you use, including cleaning and basic preventative maintenance. In this position you will work with various materials and will be responsible to safely label, store, and dispose of those substances. Various hand and power tools may be used during the finishing process. Forklift operation and basic maintenance will be a part of your daily tasks to move equipment to/from other departments.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN FINISHER

• Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform duties
• Read and interpret basic parts drawings
• Organized and detail-oriented, with effective time management and prioritization skills
• Complete training to become forklift certified within 30 days
• Lift up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Finishing experience with wet and/or powder coat paint (preferred)

WORK SCHEDULE AS A FINISHER

The typical schedule for this full-time position is Monday - Thursday from 5:30 am to 2:30 pm and Friday from 5 am - 9 am.
