Job summary

CKF in Omaha is seeking a Stone Countertop Finisher to hand fabricate and polish custom edges on stone countertops, delivering precise, high-quality results in a busy production environment.

You will read job plans and CAD drawings, measure accurately with a tape, and use a miter saw and handheld polisher to shape edges. Safety, organization and punctuality are essential. Experience with stone products and basic carpentry helps.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail required.
• Ability to read and follow job plans and CAD/blueprints.
• Use tape measure accurately to 1/16 inch.
• Experience with miter saws, handheld polisher and basic hand tools.
• General carpentry knowledge or experience is helpful.
• Experience working with stone products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hand fabricate and polish all custom edges of stone countertops.
• Create edging and details using a miter saw.
• Use a wet grinder to cut stone by hand when needed.
• Repair chips and re-finish edges as required.
• Review and follow job plans and SPS instructions.
• Maintain, operate and clean equipment per manuals and procedures.
• Maintain organized work area and fulfill safety policies.
