PD Instore in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Finisher responsible for applying stains, topcoats, and wood sealants to custom store fixtures. You will use solvents and tools to finish surfaces per blueprints and work orders, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include preparing substrates, coloring and sealing finishes, maintaining part tracking, and aligning with production schedules. This full-time, on-site role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read blueprints/work orders and follow instructions precisely.
• Prepare substrates (wood, metal, plastic, vinyl, paper) for finishing.
• Mix finishes to achieve desired color and sheen.
• Operate spray equipment and maintain tools.
• Maintain part tracking and work order documentation.
• Organize tasks to meet production schedules and delivery timelines.

Responsabilités

• Follows blueprints, work orders and verbal instructions to determine product specifications and material requirements
• Prepares a variety of substrates (wood, metal, plastic, vinyl, paper, etc.) for finish using hand and power tools and chemicals for cleaning and paint adhesion
• Mix finish to obtain desired color, shard and sheen of specific finish
• Spray stain/color to parts and fixtures
• Stack and unstack parts from tables and pallets ensuring damage prevention
• Maintains accurate part tracking, job tags, and work order documentation throughout the finishing process
• Organizes and prioritizes jobs to support production schedules, ensure efficient workflow, and meet delivery commitments
• Performs other duties as assigned
