Job summary

Domtar in Ashdown, Arkansas is seeking a Finished Products Shift Supervisor to provide first level supervision of hourly pulp production staff. You will coordinate activities, allocate resources and drive safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in pulp/papermaking, a college degree is preferred, and strong interpersonal communication skills to lead by example in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Pulp/Papermaking experience.
• College degree preferred; if no degree must have passed TABE, CRC or Nowlin exam.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first level supervision of hourly employees in pulp production.
• Coordinate activities and allocate resources to meet production goals.
• Report to the A1 and Pulp Dryer Superintendent's.
