Job summary

International Paper in Prattville, Alabama, is seeking a Finished Products Operations Maintenance Coordinator to direct field day and outage activities on the paper machines. You will lead the MWS program, coordinate maintenance planning, and ensure safety, reliability, quality, and cost targets are met.

You will schedule work, manage outages, and review daily notifications and backlog with maintenance supervision, while guiding a team to improve productivity and employee engagement.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Five years of experience in pulp and paper (preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field day and outage activities for paper machines.
• Lead the Manufacturing Work System (MWS) program and meetings.
• Schedule work to ensure process reliability and communicate plans.
• Manage shutdowns, lockout/tagout, and work permitting.
• Review area backlog and priorities weekly with maintenance supervisors.
• Provide Area Manager coverage in absence.
