Great Lakes Cheese, Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a Transporter of Finished Goods to move products from production to storage, ensuring accurate counts and proper put-away in a GMP-compliant environment.

You will scan pallets with handheld devices, verify counts, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work area while supporting the team to meet production needs. Overtime and weekend availability may be required.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate safety labels on chemical containers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Ability to work overtime/weekends when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Remove product from wrapping equipment and transport to racking location.
• Use handheld scanner to log and track finished goods.
• Verify correct counts of finished product.
• Change/maintain batteries and fill out documentation.
• Scan pallet tags and match to pallets.
• Put pallets away neatly and centered in racks.
• Maintain productive speed to meet deadlines.
• Utilize downtime efficiently and stay productive.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Follow safety policies and procedures per GMP & Safe Quality Food program.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
