Great Lakes Cheese, Inc is hiring a Transporter Raw Product to move raw materials from the cooler entrance into production in strict accordance with GMP and Safety policies. You will operate a handheld scanner, verify counts, rotate stock, and ensure continuous material flow while maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED, basic manufacturing knowledge, forklift ability, and the capacity to read safety labels and perform

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
• Ability to run forklifts and other transport equipment.
• Ability to read, comprehend and communicate safety labels on chemical containers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Use handheld scanner to track and verify product movement.
• Verify correct counts of product.
• Change/maintain batteries and fill out documentation.
• Set up raw material and provide production with a constant flow of material.
• Scan pallet tags and match them to the pallet.
• Put pallets away neatly; centered in racks.
• Maintain a productive speed to meet all needs in a timely manner.
• Rotate stock appropriately.
• Productive use of down time.
• Adhere to safety policies and the Safe Quality Food Program.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.
