Job summary

BD is seeking a dedicated Quality Technician in Sumter, USA to support rework and reinspection of suspected defective finished goods. You will sort defective parts from acceptable ones and ensure proper handling of materials through repacking and pallet arrangement.

Key duties include inspecting packaging for printed information accuracy (expiration date, batch), visually checking components, disposing rejects to keep them out of distribution, and performing tasks assigned by the area

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical and visual inspections of finished goods packaging focused on accuracy of printed information such as expiration date and batch number.
• Perform visual inspections of finished goods looking for defective components or defects within the assembly.
• Perform repacking of materials requiring attention to the part count and organization/arrangement of materials within individual cartons, and arrangement of finished cartons on pallets.
• Perform material disposal for rejected products to ensure removal from distribution stream.
• Other duties as assigned by area supervisor.
