Kitchen Tune-Up Denver is seeking an Experienced Finished Trim Carpenter / Custom Cabinet Installer / Cabinet Technician to join our crew. We offer unique custom products and services that are in strong demand with homeowners, including custom cabinets/cabinetry, cabinetry refacing, cabinet redooring, and other home services to upgrade, update, and uplift customers' kitchens and bathrooms.
We are a growing remodeling business and will be launching a sister business (Bath Tune Up - Denver) in February 2024. This role will have a great opportunity to join our growing team as we work on kitchen and bathroom projects in the Denver area.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Work with another installer on custom cabinetry, cabinet refacing, and cabinet redooring services in customers' homes.
- Collaborate with the installer and project manager to execute projects quickly and efficiently.
- Follow processes and steps in the installation process to ensure a quality and repeatable end product.
- Adhere to Kitchen Tune Up Trustpoints on every job.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and clean up daily.
- Communicate daily with the project manager and customers about progress via BuilderTrend.
Interpersonal & Leadership Skills:- Stellar work ethic and personal pride in a job well done the first time.
- Experience running a job site, organizing the team, and delivering projects with quality execution and on time.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate with other installers and the project manager regarding project details.
- Must be able to interact with our customers on a professional and friendly level.
Technical Skills:- Excellent knowledge of cabinet construction and terminology from years of building and installing cabinets, moldings, etc., in kitchens and bathrooms.
- Experience and ability to layout and install new custom cabinetry in kitchens and bathrooms, including crown/stacker crown moldings, finish trim work, custom hoods, and custom shelving/bookcases.
- Experience with cabinet refacing and edgebanding of new and existing cabinetry.
- Track record of modifying/problem-solving on job sites to keep the job moving forward.
- Able to build and install ready-to-install cabinets, assembled cabinets, and roll-out trays and accessories in cabinets.
- Ability to safely operate power hand tools, including a table saw, band saw, power hand saw, router, planer, and powered nail gun.
- Experience with bathroom remodels is a plus.
Additional Requirements:- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a verifiable good driving record and no physical limitations to perform the required tasks.
