Job summary

Imaging Business Machines, LLC seeks a Level 1 Finish Technician to deburr parts and manage pem/dip/paint processes, ensuring an aesthetically pleasing aluminum finish. The role requires basic polishing/sanding skills, familiarity with paint behavior on aluminum, and epoxy filler usage to cover defects.

You will support fabrications and maintain a clean, organized work area. The candidate should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work with a team to complete shop orders, keep tools organized,

Qualifications

• A 2-year technical degree is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of finish polishing or sanding, including hand filing.
• Must understand how paint lays over aluminum parts and its esthetic impact.
• Must be familiar with using body/two-part epoxy filler to cover cracks and defects.
• Proficient in electrical and/or mechanical assemblies; strong eye-hand dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate finish is applied to parts.
• Keep finish tools neat and in their proper place.
• Dispose of scrap metal, slugs, debris properly.
• Fill out shop orders accurately with correct part quantities.
• Stack parts correctly for press brakes and bending.
• Maintain a clean deburr area daily and support inventory for Fabrication.
