Job summary

Sabre Industries in Louisiana is seeking a reliable team member for our concrete construction and maintenance crew. You will stock materials, prepare surfaces, apply paint, caulking, and support safety and quality on the floor.

The role requires high school diploma, good hand tools skills, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and the ability to work outdoors in shifts, including weekends. We value teamwork, integrity, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with concrete construction and maintenance preferred.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions with attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently stocks and stores materials in appropriate areas.
• Cleans and polishes walls and surfaces.
• Applies paint to surfaces including trim.
• Contributes to team effort by communication and working well with others.
• Applies caulking compounds to fill cracks and gaps.
• Maintains safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Follow proper safety procedures.

Essential Duties

• Efficiently stocks and stores materials in appropriate areas
• Cleans and polishes walls and surfaces
• Applies paint to surfaces including trim
• Contributes to team effort by communication and working well with others, as well as accomplishing related tasks as needed
• Applies caulking compounds to fill cracks, holes, and etc.
• Contributes to a safe working environment by being responsible for quality, safety, organization, and cleanliness in your area of operation
• Follow proper safety procedures
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Must work well with others.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma, or equivalent
• Training in vocational schools or related on-the-job experience preferred
• Considerable knowledge of the standard methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in concrete construction and maintenance.
• Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work.
• Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
• Skill in the use and care of hand and small power tools associated with the work.
• Must be able to work efficiently without supervision
• Ability to pay close attention to detail

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting and handling of materials
• Must be able to work in an outside manufacturing environment for long shifts, including weekends
• Position requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and a safety-minded individual
• Must be able to work in an open environment exposed to extreme temperatures and loud noise
• Must have the ability to concentrate on tasks for long periods of time and be able to observe and receive information from all relevant sources
